BPTA adopts new Rules of Arbitration

The Council of the British Potato Trade Association has adopted new Rules of Arbitration to replace the current ‘Arbitration Rules of The British Potato Trade Association’ which have been in use since 2007.The new Rules of Arbitration complement the new BPTA Terms and Conditions for the Purchase and Sale of Seed Potatoes which were introduced from 1st May 2012. The new Rules of Arbitration will apply to all new arbitrations commenced with effect from 1st January 2013. A copy of the new Rules of Arbitration can be viewed on and downloaded from the ‘Contracts’ page on the BPTA Website – www.bpta.org.uk/bpta_contracts.php – or on application to the Association Secretary.The 2007 Arbitration Rules of The British Potato Trade Association will continue to apply to all arbitrations commenced up to and including 31st December 2012.
